Music & Lessons

Ever want to try out a lot of instruments to see what you like best? Here is your chance! With Introduction to Music Making, students get to learn how to play several different instruments to see what they like best. Woven in to learning how to use the instruments is the physics of sound and how each instrument takes advantage of the laws of nature to produce musical sounds. Also included is music theory because when you know the basics of music theory, learning a new instrument is as simple as figuring out where to put your fingers. During Introduction to Making Music, students will learn to perform the same song on several different instruments. These instruments would be drums, piano, voice (using a microphone and sound system), guitar, bass, trumpet, and more. During the full day version, students will perform together as an ensemble using the different instruments.

Cost: $210

All students attending Before and After camp, AM and PM camps will be supervised during transitions.
