Music & Lessons

This camp is for musicians who have *some* familiarity with their instrument – no matter which one. Here students will learn about rhythm, songcraft, songwriting, music theory, but especially the skills and teamwork required to perform songs as a group. We’ll be making a band, choosing and/or writing the songs, learning the parts and performing them in a concert at the end.

For this camp, I define experience as at least knowing how to make sound on your instrument. Some reading is helpful but not necessary. I will find a challenge for every student regardless of skill level.

*Lunch will be provided between pm daily.  Students K-8 will have lunch and transition to recess, monitored by our staff. Lunch is provided by Bon Appetit in the OES Dining Hall and specializes in fresh, local ingredients. Please see the Summer Lunch tab or for more information.

Cost: $250

All students attending Before and After camp, AM and PM camps will be supervised during transitions.
