From seed to soil to sauce– we’ll learn all the secrets of how to make farm fresh, homemade pizza, and become pizza chefs ourselves. Each day we’ll discover a new step: how to thresh, winnow and mill wheat to make flour, how to make fresh cheese, summer seasonal tomato sauce and pesto, and pizza dough, all while learning about the food system in the United States, and local agriculture in Oregon in a fun and delicious way. On the final day, we’ll put all of our new skills to use and make and eat homemade pizzas! 

*Lunch will be provided for all morning camps PreK- 8th grade and full day camps. Bon Appetit manages the OES Dining Hall and specializes in fresh, local ingredients. Please see the Summer Lunch tab or oes.cafebonappetit.com for more information.

All students attending Before and After camp, AM and PM camps will be supervised during transitions.
