Cooking, Farming, and Outdoor Exploring (Week 1: 6/25-6/29 ALL DAY)

Campers will visit local farms to mountainous hikes while cooking foraged foods and learning about native habitats. We’ll be exploring secret natural paradises outside of Portland – swimming holes, rivers, lakes and participating in real farm life! Students will reflect (writing and sketching) on their experience being exposed to their outdoor environment – culminating in a journal to take with them to High School.

*Lunch (12-12:45 pm) will be provided for all morning classes PreK- 8th grade and full day classes. Bon Appetit manages the OES Dining Hall and specializes in fresh, local ingredients. Please see the Summer Lunch tab or for more information.
