We teach kids assertive use of verbal self-defense, skills to protect themselves in a bullying situation, and protocols to follow during and after conflicts. By showing students how to set verbal boundaries – what to say, when to say it, and how to say it – we give them the confidence to stop being a target. Camp incorporates martial arts to build self-esteem and gives students positive alternatives to solving conflict.

Games and activities provide fun and accessibility to all participants. “Sharks and Minnows”, “Base Battles”, and “Spider Kids” are just a few of the many exciting games we use during our instruction.
