In this class you will learn and practice the basic skills necessary for creating a variety of sewing projects You might wonder; how do you sew a picture with needle and thread? Is it hard to make a pillow or a stuffed animal? What about skirts or hats? Maybe you’ll want to sew a beanbag or a tote bag. What’s the best type of fabric to use? You might also wonder what makes a sewing machine work? In this class, you will learn how to cut fabric, follow a simple pattern, hand sew and use a sewing machine. Best of all, you will have a chance to try out your own sewing ideas by using your new skills.

*Lunch will be provided for all morning and all day classes from 12pm-12:45pm. Lunch supervision will be provided for students PreK-8th grade.
